After numerous requests for pho, I decided to put my 500 bowls consumed experience to the test and crack the pho code. I'm really happy with the results. Pho is the quintessential Vietnamese dish and worthily represents the best in Vietnamese cuisine - simple flavors with complex balance and fresh ingredients. The base of pho is a clean, rich, vibrant beef broth and fresh rice noodles. Traditionalists add all sorts of meats into their bowls, but we are sticking to mainstream round steak and a Asian-spice rubbed brisket. After that it is all fresh and raw: bean sprouts, lime, herbs, onions and jalapeno.
A bowl of pho is great anytime, but is particularly good on cold days - so please come in and warm yourself up.
